Recently I spent much time watching movies, and by good fortune, it happened that I always got good movies. I watched 'Stuck on You', a comedy that gets me mellow in the end. When finally separated by operation, the Siamese twin still cannot live separately because of the stronger emotional bond between them. 'La Divorce' has gotten me daydream about the beauty of Paris, buildings, eiffel, fashion and the food. And 'The Emperor's club', a movie that tells how important it is to live rightly, and how influential the role of teacher is to mold one's character. This is a must-see movie. You'd better watch it.
But still, my favorite is The West Wing. I dont like politics, but I like the way these people work together in a team for their president who has got a good heart. He is a perfect president, isn't he...
Handsome, powerful, smart, witty, accomodative (Martin Sheen is definitely born with those characters). Each personnel is a very smart person, who knows what to do and what to say in most of the times. Self control is one of the their qualities of being able to put aside personal desire in serving public needs. This clearly appears in how they rapidly but unmistakably control their feeling in a situation that involves both personal and working attributes. They dont have perfect life, though. One accomplishment in one part of life doesnt bring another achievement in,.. err usually personal life. It seems that they dont come in one package. Does it always have to be that way?
Can't we have all?
