Weekend

Had a nice weekend. ..

Saturday
I was invited to go to Dewi's housewarming party. It was very enjoyable. Haha hihi with friends. Delicious food and a comedy movie. Thanks to Dewi for the food, the jokes and the warm atmosphere. We definitely need some moments of refreshing once in a while, from the routine suppression and boredom.

Sunday
Had a one-day wonderful experience with 2 Japanese families, Ubaura Family and Tomoko Family. We went to an area one-hour from Toyohashi to experience vegetables picking. We spent the whole noon there and enjoyed the work (ka na..) , fresh air to invigorate the emotion. The fruit of hard work was then served at the dinner. Suddenly I felt like home, having dinner together with my family, laughing and talking about everything. Despite limited scope of my Japanese vocabulary, I was still able to understand the essence of the conversation. What amazed me most about these families is the way they cultivate the work ethic within their children soul. From the early age they have learned how to work hard in order to achieve their final destination. We get what we earn, what we work for. These children seldom nag, performed healthy competition to get the highest, yet still enjoy the fun part of being children.
