Still 25

Wearing the poncho and the watch, bringing the iPod. If possible, I intended to bring all of the presents for whole day with me.

Had lunch at Lousiana Mama and spent the rest of the day walking around Toyohashi station with Jana. Thanks for the lovely day Jana...

Hit 25.

I am 25 today.
I am happy, healthy and blessed. (Dont think about the research).
I am grateful for having chance to see the beauty of life for the last 25 years. WIth wonderful friends and great people.

Few more minutes to June 30, I spent the times with chatting. I knew that my friends will give me a surprise (GR hehehe). Right after 12.00, he called and said 'Happy Birthday'. And I opened his gift. I got 2 ponchos and 2 CDs (1 actually because one is only an instrument to encourage me to study). I read his card and being touched. I am very happy. Thank you for always being there. That's the greatest gift. I guess I didnt say it enough.

Gannet called. Thank you for remembering my birthday. We have a better relationship now. Good friends.

My friends came. Their lovely smile, warm talk and nice jokes made the joy complete. Erdim suddenly became merrier. And urusai (noisy). One sanguine is enough take away the silent night, and here comes 2 sanguines :D They brought cake --made by Kak Lusi with smiley face figure on top of it-- and a flower from Reza. Sweet... Thank you Dewi, Zaki, and Mori for having became the model for Dewi.
First gift is yukata (complete set with the slipper, obi, bag) in my favourite color!!! From Nook, Kak Nelfa, Didik, Kak Emi and Noel. Great!! I always wanted to buy one but always felt reluctant to.

Gift from Zaki (and his Selly) is a watch. Thank you. I had almost bought that before. You have a good informant ;-).

From Dewi, Kak Lusi dan Wawan is IPod (I Love it!!), and a Zaki's so-called 'Britney Spears' clothes. And one of the most gratifying and funny also is 'card' made by Dewi. I had thought she really wanted to be a pro photographer, but I was wrong.

It's an undescribable feeling. Realizing that I am not alone in my birthday and being with nice friends instead, is one blessing that I am very grateful of. And the birthday presents also hehehehehehe. I love them all.

Thank you for the surprise party, Dewi, Kak Lusi, Wawan, Zaki, Kak Nelfa, Jana, Nook, and Odie.

Odie's Birthday

Happy 25th Birthday Odie...
May Allah always deliver happiness in your life.

Odie is 5 days older than me. In a way, I always think that he resembles me in matters of personal nature. He's not an expansive type, and prefer hearing or observing the situation than doing the talking thing, except in discussion about gossips. He surely knows much about that artist sensational report ;-) His salient smile assures everyone of his existence. He is the head of Sport and Entertainment Division of Indonesian Student Society (PPI TY).

That night we held a surprise party by knocking at his B-502 room when we found him with Yazdi and Wawan watching 'Birthday Girl'. The theme for his birthday is soccer since he is an avid fan of Manchester United. Or David Beckham?? :D

The celebration of the birthday took place in Pindi restaurant. Waaaa it was a very nice free lunch. Kimochi ga yoku naru. Thanks ya Od!! Hope that your wish come true :)

お誕生日おめでとうございますね。。。

Tanpa sadar aku membangun angan-angan.

Selama puluhan musim berganti, aku terbiasa berjalan tenang. Menghindari tikungan tajam, menyimpan mimpi mimpi dan hidup berdasar realita. Satu perhentian, aku berganti arah. Meski tak lagi berkawan dengan rasa aman, aku tetap berjalan menikmati birunya langit, merdunya senandung pagi, teduhnya malam dan lembayung sore.

Uluran tangan hangat penuh tawa kian mewarnai perjalanan singkatku.

Make Inu

Make inu means the losing dog. This term refers to women who opt to fly solo instead of playing duet in a companionship called marriage. Once my Japanese friend pointed out about this vogue happening nationwide in Japan. This might be the grounds for the population shrinkage undergoing in Japan, which leads to a state of aging population. One might state that the real happiness in life can only be obtained behind connubial wall and all action in its subsequence. On the other hand, one might also find silver lining within this condition for having more space and time to enjoy themselves, no worries about children, school fund and or education concern. Every individual has their rational motives for their action.

In comparison with Indonesia, women in Indonesia are disposed to get married in a younger age. Broadly speaking, after graduate from university, they pace into the next step of life by getting married. Of late this topic arises each time I have conversation with some friends (women). They express their worries about the communal demand of their getting married soon. Questions asked here and there by the encircling community drives them crazy. And the most difficult part is parents, cause what a child wants is to make parents be satisfied of their child.

Some say that they wont lower their standard just because the societal community expect them to do so. It is about a lifetime happiness that we should strive for by ourself. But some at long last give up and succumb to their parents's choice for husband. Societal circle could be very irritating. But I do really hope that their decision are for their best and happiness.

Speaking personally, I dream of getting married with someone I love and who loves me in return. A lifetime partner and bestfriend. From what path and how he comes doesnt reaally matter to me.
