Weekend in Nagoya

What a lovely weekend I had in Nagoya!! Forget about the presentation. I didnt really care for it from the very start. Prepared the ppt files, gave the speech, answered some questions and that was it. Most of the presenters were Japanese, presented their research in Japanese, and discussion was done in Japanese. I noticed that in my session there were only 2 English presentations. I bet they didnt really understand what I was talking about. Shoganai..

Spending the weekend with San is the more interesting part for me. We hadn't met for about 3-4 months. I dont quite remember. We used to talk many things from dusk til dawn. We have quite a lot in common: thoughts, feelings, hobbies, motivations, and to tell the truth... weight and body size. Apart from that, we have a very different opinion about our goals in life. Although I insisted that it is all just because she hasnt found what she is looking for. She didnt agree on my opinion. Hahahaa we are both equally stubborn. It was an interesting 'pillow talk', though.

We had so much fun the day after. What I refer as fun here is .. shopping and eating. Both are our hobbies. What kept me from spending much money is thinking of I am going back 2 months later. But this sweet girl, has not enough reason for not going overboard. And I have to admit I was kind of aiding the interest of her shopping a lot of women's stuff by encouraging her continuously. 'I think this suit is very nice on you, you look smart' 'You look elegant wearing those shoes' 'This clothe goes with you very well'. Hahaha. Am I a bad friend?? I was only trying to make her happy... Beside she really needed those things.. Right, San?? We spent 5,5 hour walking around. I could no longer feel my feet. Numb. It was very nice weekend with her. Thank youuuuu. Ganbatte for those english books. I think she is gonna reach her goals for all the hardworks she's been doing.

The journey hadn't ended yet.. On Sunday I met Dewi, Kanit and Sho in Nagoya station. I planned to meet them around 10.20. But.. my habit of being lost when my mind wandering around came to the surface. I met them around 11.

We had a very nice shopping journey with Sho as the 'guide', who insisted to bring us to a very cute shopping place. Hahahaha. How in the world that I can imagine how this shopping place will look like. It was just.... a place full of unique things, which are not my interest at all. We went to loft afterwards... Yeah this is what I call shopping center, provides good things, reasonable price, nice place, and complete stocks. Nagoya is like a heaven for shoppers :D

I really love my weekend with San, Sho, Kanit, Dewi and also was happy to have a chance to meet Yuri and her mother even only in a very short moment in Doutour Coffee.
