`How can I at least live the town if I dont know good things about it?`. Maybe I am being too judgmental first time I got here. I don`t see people walking around here, too quiet, it`s way too different from Indonesia. Even from Toyohashi. All I was thinking was 'I wanna go home, I will go home`
Anyway, my feet went back to the ground. I have to act rationally and there came the sentence `How can I at least live the town if I dont know good things about it?`. I`ll enjoy the town eventually, it just takes time. No need to rush.
I went to Indonesian Moslem Gathering, went shopping to IKEA, walked around the campus, trying out the bus routes. I love the campus. It`s so.... hmmm.... academically alive. In fact, East Lansing is all about MSU(Michigan State University). This town lives for MSU. I saw ducks in a small river flowing through the campus site, vast areas under the tree here and there. It wont be difficult to find some place to enjoy myself viewing the scenery here.
Everyday is a new adventure to me. For the first time here I earnestly learn to cook. It is actually exciting thing. It`s not difficult to find the spices, unlike in Japan. I went cycling, exploring the locality, with my new bike!! I am trying to make my day-after-day activities as exciting as possible.
I still miss home, I always do.
